Rodrigo Joglar
Asturian bagpipes tutor
I was born in Xixón in 1988 and started playing music at the age of 10. I began to play bagpipes under the tuition of Juan Carlos Varela to go shortly after to Pedro Pangua’s classes at the Escuela Municipal de Música de Llanera. A while after, I also began to learn diatonic accordion with Xuan Nel Expósito and continued my studies at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Uviéu, where I was part of the first class of the Professional Bagpipe Degree. In addition to that, I have a degree in Pedagogy and a Master’s degree in Socio-educational Intervention and Research at the University of Uviéu.
